“AIN’T NO HALF STEPPIN'”
JAMES 4:7-8

7 Submit yourselves, therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh unto God, and he will draw nigh unto you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded. (James 4:7-8)

Despite what some may believe, spiritual warfare is very real. There are unseen forces warring against us and the purposes of God. As the battle is real, we have to do all that we can to be victorious in this fight. We must draw closer to God, so that he may draw closer to us. We must be diligent in arming ourselves with God’s armor, and ramp up our time in fellowship with God and in the study of his word. We cannot afford to be lax. We must cleanse ourselves and change our wishy-washy ways. Time is of the essence. God is counting upon us to prevail.

Prayer: Father, as we continue in our fight against ungodliness in our lives, in our community and within the world, we ask for the grace we need to stand, that you may be glorified in us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
